Can you have separate forums for different parts of the country?

Can you have separate forums for different parts of the country? I am in CA, and a lot of the shops talked about in this forum are not available in CA, and conversely, we have shops here that are not popular in the east coast.

That's part of what I like about the forum, Mary, the diversity of it. I also like that many of us are not directly competing with each other for shops. We come here for a lot of reasons. I'm sure most new posters are here to learn. When I started shopping in 2008 I grabbed all the knowledge I could from the forum. Many long-time shoppers come here like you would go to an employee breakroom ...... to socialize and visit with co-workers ..... because MSing is a pretty solitary job. We come here to share thoughts, ideas, how-tos, and information about companies ..... mostly things that are not location-specific.
I'd be bummed if we were all separated. Some of my favorite members and closest friends are from all over the country and I would miss out an a lot of insight if we were limited to our geographic area.
