Mystery Shopping

I recently have been looking in to Mystery Shopping and it looks interesting but, I really do not know how to get started. Can anyone help? I got an e-mail from Apex Consult Co., Inc, which I did respond to. They sent me a Money Gram for $900 with instructions to cash the money gram, keep out $200 and send the balance per western union to an individaul in New York. This sounds to good to be true and I am wondering if anyone has info on this organization. I did not cash this money gram and do intend to. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

TOlson

I am 99.999% sure it is a scam. There is an ATH POWER CONSULTING CORPORATION that has "Apex" on their web site but trust me, it is tough to get $15-17 out of them for a job, so sending you $900 to keep $200 sounds like a true scam. Don't cash the money gram.

You will not be sent money 'out of the blue' by any legitimate mystery shopping company.

For information about mystery shopping, I would suggest you start with the "Nuts and Bolts" thread of this area of the forum and the other "Sticky" threads at the top of this section of the forum.
I smell that it is. Just saw another one yesterday with different scammer or maybe same but different name.
