date/time stamp woes...

I made a special 200mi. round trip yesterday because I've caught the MS bug. It was going to be profitable, but not killer. I've done quite a few shops considering I've only been doing this for 3 months, and signed up to do my 2nd and 3rd branded wholesale fuel shops. This MSC requires the date/time stamp on the pics (you know who). I NEVER use the date/time stamp on my camera, and of course forgot to turn it on. I have a nice Nikon that records that info, but I can't figure out how to make it print on the pics after the pics are taken with the stamp off.

I'm totally stressed about flaking and I'm really proud of my good report scores. Since it's the weekend, I can't talk to anyone at the MSC... (besides, I REALLY want to submit the one report- the employee charged me wrong for my candy bars twice, on purpose because he was mad they were marked wrong. I gave up on making him fix it again knowing that I could just note it in my report - and he was the manager! bwahahahaha! winking smiley

What should I do? If I drive the whole way again, besides being a money loss because my fuel will cost more than the fees, my report might not be accepted anyway... HELP!!!with advice, please!

Go online and download Gena Photostamper. You can get the trial version. It will date/time stamp your photos even if you didn't have it turned on, on the camera. Let me know how you go!

I had gone online earlier, when I posted this, and downloaded some program to date/time mark my photos (it wasn't Gena Photostamper tho). I put the stamp on them, and have tried twice to do one of my reports. I complete the whole thing and try to submit it, but the screen does nothing - it shows the little submit button being pushed, but nothing happens. I can go into the MSC on a diff window and get around fine, all my other programs are working fine, and I even closed out and restarted before I tried the second time, about an hour after the first! Do you think the date program could have anything to do with it? I will try later with the unstamped originals, but at this point, it is going to have to wait till the kids are in bed... The assignments still show in 'my jobs', and as a backup on the job board (still assigned), and maybe since it's the weekend, I can still get them in even if it is without the stamp...

audrialyn, there is definitely one client that will not accept reports without the date/time stamp. If the OP uploads the copies without the it, the others will have to be e-mailed.

I redid the pics with date/time - long story short, it was a ton of work because I had tons of problems getting the forms to submit. Hours and hours worth of screen time, and days and days of waiting to find out how they racked, one shop is accepted, the other voided because of error (I forgot one pic - it was 4:30am by the time I got that one to submit...)

ANYWAY, today I see that SAME fuel audit reposted. And a few other shops for this town upped enough that they are now worth shopping.
Can I redo the same location audit??? There is no 'B' for backup, which is what shows up when I have done a job and am waiting for the reshop period to exhaust. :-D I certainly wouldn't forget the date/time stamp this time! ROFL!!!

If this is CORI then they will normally allow you to reshop at the rate you shopped before. The invalid audit with the pic missing, did you fail to take the picture or just not get it uploaded? If you have that photo you may be able to get them to accept depending on how much time has passed.

I did take the pic, but somehow missed loading it... the date/time download that I used was a trial version and put a small watermark on the pics. The troubleshooter wouldn't accept it when I emailed it to her, and asked me to redo the report with the pics done without the watermark. By this time I had hours and hours into fixing this report, and as much as I didn't want the black mark, and I wanted to finish the job I committed to doing, I was mentally done and simply could not redo the pics another time.
