Audit for office supply

So are audits worth it? The app says it takes 20-30 min including input. What is your experience with these? Are there ones to avoid?

Leeanna - You haven't named the mystery shopping company, so you can name the store. We need to know more about the audit to comment.

I think it was for Office Depot, it said you will have to take photos of merchandise. I'm just trying to find shops that don't require advance expenses since I am just starting out with nothing coming in. It's not that I can't spend any money, just want to limit it where I can.
Leeanna - I haven't done that one and can't comment about that particular shop. Maybe someone else will jump in here. If it's the MSP I'm thinking, it should be OK. Is it printers? I saw some of those shops this summer but didn't pick them up because I took off for a couple of months. The MSC on the ones I saw that were printers at the office supply is AOK.

leeana,
Another type of shop that does not require spending money is banks. Also, some cell phone shops and apartment shops. Be sure to sign up with SRG, as they pay very quickly, like within 10 days.

If you need office supplies, some of the "small purchase required" shops can also work for you.

Speaking of audits,I'm doing one at Shoprite (major grocery chain in NJ). I've never attempted this before. It sounds scary. Anybody ever do an audit in the bakery and meat departments? Or any audit anywhere? I don't really know how I was assigned the job. I guess I thought it was a normal shop job! I'm a little nervous.

Did you mean RSG - Research Services Group? They pay super fast and I have not had to lay out any cash for their shops.

I will report back after the audit this evening. I'm little nervous. It's my first time. And I got another subway job for right now!! Off to make some money!!
Good luck to all today!

Just finished my first audit. It was at a large grocery chain store and it was no chore at all. I just had to look in the store circular and make sure everything advertised for the meat and bakery section was there!! And that the sell by dates were a date in the future. It took about an hour. It is not a high pay job, though. It pays a $15 reimbursement for groceries. This is an easy job, but unless I can do it within 5 miles of my home, it's not really a great job.
