We are a bunch of mystery shoppers who work as independent contractors for various mystery shopping companies. We "meet" here online to share our experiences and talk about our lives, like an employee breakroom.
To learn about mystery shopping, start to read here on the forum. There's a lot of good information about how to make money mystery shopping, but you will need to read and understand it on your own. You will have to put in a lot of time and a lot of work before you start to see a pay-off. To find jobs, go to the blue link at the bottom of the page, Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. You will apply with each of the companies you select at their online website, providing your SS# and personal information, and they will require you to sign a confidentiality agreement. Some may ask you for a writing sample or have tests for you to take. Once you are accepted by a company as a mystery shopper, you will be able to search their job board to see if they have jobs in your area. The more companies you sign up with, the more chances you will have of finding jobs.
