Greetings from Delaware!

I brought muffins and coffee for everyone. =)

I am new to this forum and relatively new to Mystery Shopping. I've done a couple of restaurant shops and an electronic store shop so far. I'm signed up for a cell phone shop and some fast food shops over the next few weeks. I work a full time and a part-time job so I can't do as many shops as I would like to be able to do but I find it to be very satisfying work.

I was reading through some of the posts yesterday and had never even thought about using a DVR. What a brilliant idea! I'm pushing 50 so my memory isnt what it used to be (::smile:smiling smiley and the retail shop I did was tough for me when trying to remember specific details.

I look forward to learning more about mystery shopping and all of you!

Zoogz,
Welcome from a neighbor to the south (Maryland).
Please be aware that in Delaware it is against state law to record another person without first getting their consent. So, if you are using your DVR just to record your own voice (notes about the shop), fine. But recording an interaction with a second person may be a criminal offence in Deleware and 13 other states.

For details, please do a search "all dates" for "audio" here.

Welcome to the forum. You will find tons of support and advice here.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Thanks for the welcome and for the tip! My son mentioned yesterday that he thought it was illegal to record someone without their knowledge in DE.

The DVR will be for me to do digital notes after the shop rather than trying to sit in my car and write it all out right after the shop.

I'm happy that I found this forum and think I'll be spending a lot of time on here.

Great. We call states like Delaware "two party states" because both parties to the recording have to give their consent. You will find that your neighboring states of Maryland and Pennsylvania are also two party states.
