# of items on receipt vs. reimbursement...

did a search but didn't find this referenced...

What happens if I do a shop where I choose to purchase multiple items to get up to the reimburse limit; say the limit is $8, and I buy 3 things for $2, $3, and $5. Will the company pay me back for the $2 item, or will they reimburse me $8 (limit even tho I spent $10)?

If the reimbursement is $8, they will reimburse that amount no matter how many items you buy. Unless the shop instructions say otherwise (which I have never seen).
Usually the instructions say you may purchase as much as you want but that your reimbursemnt is limited to $ whatever. I have sometimes purchased multiple items which, when combined, make the maximum reimbursement or higher, and I have been reimbursed the maximum reimbursement amount.
I wonder if this would apply to pizza delivery as well? I do a shop for a company that reimburses $20 for a pizza that just costs $10 (has to be certain ingredients) The requirement is just to buy one pizza however. Hmmm, anyone know?
good question - I would love to know the answer as well...there is a pizza shop in my area, but there is no way ONE pizza would feed my tribe! LOL!
I have done pizza delivery shops - not the ones that require the pictures - and I have ordered 2 or 3 pizzas at a time. The shops reimburse $15. With tip and delivery charge, my bill runs $28-$30. I have always been reimbursed the $15 and have never had any questions.
When in doubt, email your scheduler and get it in writing!
