Go to the website of the company/companies you registered with and take a look at their job boards for your area. If a job looks interesting to you, either take it by self-assigning it or put in a request for it. This is a business where you need to be proactive in finding and selecting shops. Pretty much the only shops that will be offered to you by email are ones that other shoppers find are not worth the money.
