I use a spreadsheet that has the company name, the link to the website, my login, my password, the date I signed up and useful information such as their pay cycle, scheduler(s) I deal with, toll free or other phone numbers etc.
I seen some of the job listings, but what I don't like is the trials with some companies and using my credit card..some of these companies don't have phone #'s you can call before your trial is up and they end up charging your credit card for a months subscription..try to get that back, 'cause I couldn't and I got burned bad..
is there a way I can stay a way from those kinds of shopping on line? please let me know..thanks, patti...
Unfortunately there are a bunch of heavily advertised companies out there that send you leads but charge you fees. The way to stay away from that is to sign up directly with the companies that DO the shops or the scheduling companies that can actually assign you the shops.

The thread at the very top of Mystery Shopping Company Discussion has a list of around 200 companies you can sign up with. Let me encourage you to sign up with Jobslinger.com (it is free) and see what companies have recently posted jobs in your area. They are your best bet to sign up with for work.
Okay, I know they say don't pay to shop. But I am going to say once again that I found a great company it cost 40 dollars. They had a huge list that they are always adding to. This is how I got started. So if you want a clear consise list to work from, the company is secretshoppingcenter I haven't had any trouble with them and they pay you $10 for every company you send them that they don't already have on their list. Jobslinger and Volition are great but this company has way more.
