Ten minute time difference... should I be worried?

Hey guys. smiling smiley I did my first two mystery shops today, and I just got confirmation from CRI that my first one was accepted and I got a 5 rating. grinning smiley The second one, however, was a fast food shop, which I think I did decently on. There are just a couple of things that concern me. First of all, the employee I interacted with didn't have a name tag on, so I didn't get his name. I explained this in the report, but they aren't going to hold me accountable for not asking for his name, are they? I thought it would be an odd thing to ask when posing as a normal customer.

The other thing is... this particular shop required me to take two pictures of the food to show the quality of it visually. The receipt (and my report) shows the transaction taking place at 7:46. I got in the car and immediately took my pictures with the date/time stamp on, and since the writing was so tiny, I didn't try to read it. I just confirmed it was there and drove home. When I got home and uploaded them, I saw that the date was correct, but the time on the pictures said 7:33. Obviously the camera's time was wrong. Is this going to cause problems for me? (Sorry for the huge amount of text! I appreciate and love you all. <3)

kelly,
When I see such time differences, I email the scheduler or note them in the narrative, stating that my "watch time" agrees with the time check on my car radio. (or whatever you use to set your watch)

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Generally if there is a time window for a shop, if the receipt time is still within that window and not too far off there is no problem. If your time window was between 6 PM and 9 PM there is no reason why you might falsify a 7:33 PM or 7:46 PM reading. I would not it in the report and not worry about it.

Where issues might arise would be if you went into the above mentioned shop at 6:02 PM and the receipt read 5:50 PM. There I would give a heads up to the scheduler as well as note it in the report because the receipt looks like you shopped outside the window. Cell phones are the perfect time source to verify your watch since the time they display is broadcast rather than controlled by some inner workings of the device.
The gas stations in my area all never Sprang Forward so all the receipts were one hour behind everyone else's watches. All of my shops were accepted.
Yes, my gas station receipts are often a real mess. They're one hour ahead, one hour behind, twenty minutes ahead, seven hours and six minutes behind... you get the idea.

It drives me nuts.

I have to make a habit of turning the receipt over and writing all the correct times on the back. Otherwise I get a migraine trying to figure out the times when I'm writing my reports a few hours later!
