I put the wrong number in a report, what to do?

I did one of my first shops today, came home and wrote up the report. I felt like I had covered everything really well, but the more I was thinking back about the shop, the more I think that I put the wrong thing in my report. I said that there were two employees in the store, but the more I think about it the more I seem to remember three people, and I think I was the only customer in the store. So my question is this...should I worry about this? There is a link where I submitted my report to comment, should I send an email correcting myself? What would be the best way to handle this? I want to get started on the right foot.

Sara,

Do you have absolute "Proof" on what you are thinking? (3 versus 2 employees?)

What is in your notes when you left the shop? You did make notes right after the shop, correct? Also, did you record the shop (as in using a DVR) if you live in a 1-party state? Go back through your recording.

I would tend to say that you are over-thinking and arguing with yourself.

I agree with R@iny .... keep your notes and write your report from your notes - I used 3x5 index cards - and don't go back to make a change unless you are absolutely sure.
Thanks for your responses. I did make notes right after leaving the shop, and listed 2 employees. I don't have proof that there were 3, so maybe I am overthinking it. Thanks for your advice, I won't make a change because I am not absolutely sure. I'll just definitely be sure in the future so I don't have to worry about talking myself out of my answers. Thanks again!
