New car call shops

I'm new to this and have never done a phone shop. A bunch of these 'new car' shops just got posted (Bestmark). Only a few dollars each, but are they worth doing? Should I try to pick up a few? Or is this one of those "if it looks too good to be true......" things?

Thank you!

Try one and see how you like it. I almost never do the phone shops but many other MS-ers do. It's money earned without leaving the house.......so it probably doesn't take a lot of time and certainly no auto expenses.

No, they don't pay well, but they are really good for getting experience. I started doing car shops (on-site and phone) with Best Mark and now I am able to do better paying ones for other companies, and do them with confidence. That's what worked for me, anyway...
can anyone tell me; what type of questions we would be asking for a car shop phone call evaluation?
Each shop has a differant criteria. They have general customer service questions and also include the shop scenerios. I completed one recently with the scenerio of making and not showing up for an appiontment. There was several question on what action was taken the 24 hours after the appiontment. I enjoy these shops they are quick and easy and require minim time I can complete these shops in about 20 minutes tops.
Well - I went ahead and tried one of these - not sure I'm a fan. It was easy, but the one I called was in a small town and I had to ask about things they didn't offer and the poor old fellow kept saying "we're just a small shop, ma'am"- I felt like a heel!

I would probably try more, though, and would do at least 3 at a time to make it worthwhile. Definitely simple enough, and a straight forward form.
If it required you to ask these things and he said they did not offer them, it may be that they are supposed to and the parent company is checking up on them. I did one where the guy was in a rush to get me off the phone and did not even take my number! I wish I were a fly on the wall if any action was taken to correct the behavior. I feel though they do not pay much they are worth it for anyone who owns a car and may have to use one of those locations in the future.
