I have never but I am an expert as to customer service. I am a mistery shopper for other companies and also am expierance in hotel buissiness.
Hello Labelleflorida,
I signed with [www.Shadow] Shoppers.com recently I think when you become a Gold member- cost through-don't know how much, they have cruise jobs you can shop. Personally through I haven't done one but it may be worth checking out.
Have a wonderful day.
Never heard of anybody being offered a cruise through ShadowShopper. I am not and have never been a member of ShadowShopper and I know there are many many folks who were lured to membership with the dream of a wonderful cruise in exchange for an easy shop. Reality is . . .

I have seen cruises at Coyle Hospitality. They want folks who have extensive experience with them and you start with them by doing restaurants and other shops before you ever get to the hotels and do the hotels before you get to the cruises. Having MSPA silver or gold certifications or ShadowShopper bronze, gold, silver, pewter or whatever other metallic ilk they may offer will not substitute for working your way up through the ranks to have enough experience to handle a cruise in depth evaluation.
I just received a email from the company saying that they had over 800 responses to it,and I deleted it.I wish I could remember which shop offered it,I think it may show up under jobslinger.com....
but that was for a shop on Cruise ship..........meaning anyone going on a cruise..they had shops available.........it was NOT for a mystery shop of a cruise which would include the cruise........I think you had to evaluate the sundry shop on board. They had sent out an email requesting anyone going on cruise to contact them about these shops. IT was BMA......

We had an overwhelming response to our email regarding a retail mystery
shop on board a cruise ship. Over 800 responses came in.
We can not possibly respond to each of you individually, but we have a list
of all who have booked a cruise and we will contact those shoppers as
needed.

And you have to wonder how many of those emails were "I'd love to go on a cruise and do the shops for you." from folks who didn't read far enough to realize that they were paying for the cruise themselves and simply shopping an on board vendor.
Flash, I think Coyle might have changed their criteria. They emailed me asking for a recommendation of a shopper who is willing to do these cruise shops. Does that mean I could refer them to a shopper who is not currently already on their database?

Speaking of Cruise shops, what do the reports entail with Coyle normally? Are they as exhausting as the Restaurant shops?

I have no idea, but I would expect that they were as extensive as a resort, since that is basically what they are. I have yet to do my first shop for Coyle because they have nothing near enough to start the rungs of their ladder. It just makes little sense to make a 200 to 300 mile drive for a dinner shop.
From what I have read, here and elsewhere, cruise shops require such extensive reports on so many interactions per day that the shopper cannot even think of enjoying any shore excursions, and will be interacting or writing about 18 hours per day. A friend who hs done them said that if her husband cannot accompny her to share the interactions, she always invites another shopper along because it is enough work for two, if you expect to have ANY free time. The catch, of course, is that the second shopper's airfare is not covered. So, when she invited me to share her cruise out of Italy, I could not afford to go.
