I think harsh is needed in this case. They asked for advice. What 3 sites are you talking about, anyway?

harsh is never needed ...period... ESPECIALLY when a new person is asking a question... all you are going to do is drive them away... or at least tick them off... and what benefit is there in this case? getting them to spell better?? at the expense of hurting someone it seems a pretty high cost...

i think it goes against JJ's desire of "add a positive contribution to the community"
