Where is Joan?

Sorry Joan,

I haven't been on site for awhile. It doesn't appear that you have been here either. Flash, how have you been?

They're both alive and well, and drop by in between shoveling their shopping money into the house.

I'm trying my best to be cool. I am working very slowly today.

We are winding up the school year so it has been very busy. With the heat, I am pooped by the time I get home. I haven't done any shops for over a week. I'll get back in the saddle next week.

Good to hear from you both. Take care,

Cristi
Hey Flash,

You must not live in California. We are cooking out here. I think it is still 90 on my patio. Yikes...
I'm in South Florida where the temperature rarely reaches the upper 90s but the humidity is never ending in the summer. We were 92 today and it felt beastly hotter than that because of the humidity. The rains generally cool us, especially if they come late afternoon so the sun doesn't get a chance to get us cooking again. We are at 74 this evening and it is a rare evening that we are above 80. We don't get the high heats of the rest of the country and definitely there is major panic if we are going to approach 32 because most of our foliage is not frost tolerant. But the humidity begins in earnest in June with the beginning of the rainy season and stays with us until late September heavy enough you could cut it with a knife.
106 here today. Right now, it's 85 here. Cooler tomorrow-103
I can take the heat, but there's no way I could live with heat and humidity. I've been in so. cal. all my life and I'm spoiled rotten smiling smiley

The humidity here is not as bad as FL, but bad enough. When am I moving in? Can you take 2 more cats? Can we do restaurants together when your spouse is busy? Ooh, ooh, I'm so excited!
I thought you hated flat flat Florida smiling smiley No cats. I like them but I like my guineas, geese and goats more.
