Try the search function to find anything on this site or research it on Google.

How forgivable is it to have a report sent back to the MS for correction? Does it happen to everyone much, or is it just me?

It happens. I haven't had one sent back lately because I am not doing much with new-to-me companies and I have already figured out what they are looking for with the companies I do work for.

My guess is that the #1 reason for reports to be returned is that they want you to respond to every "No" answer and you missed one or more of them. And no, the sky won't fall if you don't make a habit of it.

Here I go again, respond to no answers, however, write in narritive explaination for all yes answers, which is a long narritive, and do it in order.

I'm talking about one MSC with a bear of a report that always comes back, it is a PITA, but not rare with this one company. Read thread on editors.
