You wouldn't happen to be an employee of Subway, would you? That's generally frowned upon.

The post looks more like a text. If you are serious it would be a good idea to capitalize, use punctuation and spell words out completely.

Hello my name is Penn Retzlaff. I have been doing mystery shopping a little over three years now for other companies. I have really enjoyed working with and still work with all the companies. I have done everything from auditing, putting up displays with plan o grams, movies, restaurants, putting up new signage on displays. I hope that if I am hired that I could help you out in the same ways that I help them.
Welcome to the forum, Penn. This is a forum of mystery shoppers who perform as Independent Contractors for mystery shopping companies. We share our experiences and ideas on mystery shopping and compare notes on mystery shopping companies. We do not hire anyone here, although there is a Job Board section where some mystery shopping companies sometimes post jobs. If you want to apply for mystery shopping opportunities with other companies, see the blue link at the bottom of the page, Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies.
Forget all the rest of this thread ~ I just want to be a "mystery shooper"!

I remember when I was a rookie. Oh wait, that was last week.

Actually, I signed up with my first MSC on the 22nd of January (10 days ago). I have completed three shops so far and have five scheduled over the next four days. So far, I've signed up with 27 MSC's. My eight jobs are with 7 different MSC's.

My pay to date for my first three completed shops: Fees = $32.24. Reimbursements = $15.20

Each of the first three presented it's own challenge. How hard can it be to answer a yes or no question? "Did the employee wear white gloves?" My answer was both, yes and no. The clerk was wearing only one white glove. I'll always remember my first shopping victim as the Mrs. Michael Jackson and her one white glove.

So to the really new guys, sign up with companys and keep checking the job boards. The jobs will come...

Thank you for sharing. This truly made me giggle! I'm a recent newbie myself and oh how I will forever look at the details differently! Good luck to all!

Welcome to the board L0co. I would suggest poking around a little here. Try reading the first few threads in the new mystery shoppers section. You can do a search for fast food to see what pops up. The overall consensus among seasoned mystery shoppers is that the way to find shops is to sign up with as many companies as possible. Start by signing up with 5 or so and add a few every week. You are sure to find some fast food shops. There is a link at the bottom of this page to a great list of companies to which you can apply.
