Hi, rabrta, there is plenty of information here about how to build, grow, and run your mystery shopping business. You should start with a lot of reading: go to New Mystery Shoppers and read everything you can. All the information you need is there. Then apply with as many companies as you can. Below is the Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. Once you have applied with several companies, you will be able to search their job boards and take mystery shopping jobs.
Rabrta - I didn't make very much at all when I started. My first job paid $3.00 and I was glad to get it for the experience. My next job also paid $3.00 and I drove 46 miles to do that one. Then I got a job that paid $7.50 in that same town (46 miles). I kept after it and finally got this thing rolling along. Now I have as much as I am able to do. You need to sign up with a lot of companies. A good place to start is Corporate Research, Bare, Maritz, and Market Force. You will need a lot of companies to be able to get a lot of work. Take courage, keep after it, and you can build it up to be something really good.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
Hi, give it time and experience. I've done three new car shops in two days for a payout of 150.00. Made quite a bit with medicare programs too. Credit Union shops that pay 30 plus mileage. the only piddly paying job i do anymore is groceries,i have to grocery shop anyway, and i consider the fee a discount on my grocery bill.

I will never make a living at this, but I've decided that I'll only work for x number of dollars. Depends on your own situation, but i'm mostly having fun, although i've had down days for sure.

Decide what you want and work toward that goal.

Sorry about the poor grammatical errors, I'm beat. smiling smiley
