GigSpot app can anyone help with this issue... Please help if you can!

I completed 8 gas station shops today and when I clicked submit the app crashed and threw me out. I’ve tried for over an hour now to try to reopen the app with no success. I emailed the Alta360 scheduler to advise her about what was going on as I’ve never submitted a report late.. but not sure I will get a reply on the weekend.. any ideas what I could try to open it? Has anyone had this issue with the app? I only use the app for this one company...

Have you tried turning your phone off, taking out your battery for a minute or so, put the battery back in and turn the phone back on. This resets your phone.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
I did try taking the battery out and unfortunately that did put work... but I never knew you could go onto their website and fill out the survey... I thought you had to use the app.. I’m going to try the website now... thanks so much guys!! I appreciate it!
Oh it will let me log in there but not complete the reports...were you ever able to complete reports on the website? I’m trying to see if it’s an app issue or maybe GigSpot as a whole?
If you use Gigspot you can NOT use the website/ desktop site. Many people dropped gigspot due to this.

Unfortunately, I am of no help to the OP. But, I do know that Alta360 schedulers are some of the best to work with and you should call them Monday.
Alta360 is a M-F operation. Instead of using Gigspot, you should try the Mobi Audit app. I do tons of work for Alta360 (40-50 shops a month) and I always use the Mobi Audit app. Easy peasy. In fact, I tried Gigspot when it first came out and hated it, so I emailed them and had myself removed. If you decide you want to do away with Gigspot do NOT self-deactivate, email them and have them do it in order for it to completely delete you from Gigspot.
Thanks for the replies! Can I try to use Mobi Audit now or do I have to contact Alta to deactivate GigSpot then use the Mobi app? I will definitely call Monday and I already sent an email explaining what is going on too...
No, you would not contact Alta360, you would contact Gigspot directly. But, do try to download the Mobi Audit app first and see if you can get it to work that way. Gigspot is very quick to respond with assistance on deactivation.
Additionally, once you get out of the Gigspot system, you will then be able to log into each of the Shop Metrics MSCs websites directly and can look at your profile, shop log, payment history, etc. And yes, you can submit your shops on the website if you choose. Sometimes I will enter most of my report on the Mobi Audit app and if I have any comments or notes to enter, I will wait until I get home and type it using my computer keyboard, look it over, and then submit (I hate typing comments and narrative on my phone).
Thanks Jas! I’m going to try the Mobi app and then call Monday if all else fails! Thanks again, I appreciate the information!
Again, you don't contact Alta360 to get removed from Gigspot, you just email Gigspot (I think it's info@gigspot.com) and they should be able to help you with your removal.

But of course first try to see if you can get your reports done with Mobi Audit. And will you let us know if you are able to access the Mobi Audit app (not to be confused with Mobee) easily? After you get it from the app store, you can add the URL and your log in information. Would love to know if Gigspot will conflict with that. I hope not.
Hey, I knew you meant to contact GigSpot about deactivation, I just meant I’m calling Alta Monday to explain what happened regarding my reports lol.. I did try Mobi Audit and it keeps closing out so thinking there might be an issue since I’m still active with GigSpot.. It was worth a try.. I did have to change my email about a year ago with GigSpot and they were on it almost immediately so they do repond quickly.. I’m not sure if I should try to email to deactivate now or if they are also off on the weekend..
I was wondering if Gigspot would interfere with Mobi.

I think it's worth a shot to email them and see what happens.
Also, many apps have recently updated due to the upcoming Android update deadline. Be sure your copy of Gigspot and your device's OS are both up to date.
I hate using Gigspot, I had trouble with it syncing between shops in rural areas.
The best way to use this app is go to settings and turn off the internet, do your shops and turn it on when you get home to upload your reports. Since i started doing this ive never had any problems.

Lissymaree, did you get your reports in?

Yes, thanks for asking! I never did get to do them the day they were due, but was finally able to get on the GigSpot website the next day and with a few issues of it still crashing finally submitted them all. I then had my GigSpot deactivated and am now just using the MSC site to accept and submit my jobs. So much less stress!
